Sunday at home in Morocco

January 26, 2014

Sundays are best spent at home…. recharging, relaxing, and preparing for a busy week ahead.

Monday: Ship new samples from Morocco.

Tuesday-Thursday: Put our faith in DHL and pray samples get to NY on time. Work on Spring 2014 catalog.

Friday: Katie drives up the NJ turnpike and sets up in NYC for Artisan Resources Show.

Saturday-Tuesday: Mushmina at NYNOW /Artisan Resources, Spring 2014 wholesale show. Pier 94 NYC.

There may be snow outside, but let spring begin!

What Moroccans have taught me above all else is to laugh, to dance, and to give.

Exciting things this week! A  meeting to officiate the cooperative….complete with a 3 course meal, surprise guests, and street drummers. To be continued…..

Today I am grateful.

It’s Sunday and I can’t believe it’s already a new year. May 2014 bring you many gifts and blessings!

My new years gift to my husband: Meet Lambi

“In order to be an immaculate member of a flock of sheep, one must above all be a sheep oneself.”  – Albert Einstein

Lambi is life sized, hand-carved, and made with reclaimed wood, by Green Sahara Furniture, Morocco.
